Capitol Tree Care began with a simple mission: to provide the Arlington community with safe, reliable, and professional tree services. Living and working in Northern Virginia, we watched our local neighborhoods grow, understanding that the mature oaks, maples, and pines that define our streets require specialized, respectful care. We started as a small team of passionate arborists determined to handle the toughest removals while preserving the beauty of our local landscape.
Our core values are built on safety, transparency, and absolute respect for your property. Tree removal is a highly technical and potentially hazardous job, which is why we never cut corners. We invest in modern rigging equipment and continuous safety training so that every limb we lower is controlled and every trunk we fell is done with surgical precision. We treat your yard as if it were our own, ensuring that nearby structures, gardens, and power lines remain completely untouched.
When you work with us, you get honest assessments, not high-pressure sales pitches. We walk you through the entire process, explaining why a tree needs to come down or how we can safely manage a hazardous overhang. From the initial consultation to the final cleanup—where we make sure not a single stray branch is left behind—our goal is to leave your property safer and cleaner than we found it, earning your trust one project at a time.
At Capitol Tree Care, we exist to deliver peace of mind to Northern Virginia property owners when dealing with hazardous, damaged, or unwanted trees. Whether safeguarding a residential backyard or clearing a commercial site, our skilled team utilizes advanced techniques to handle complex extractions efficiently, ensuring your property remains secure and beautiful.
As dedicated local arborists, we are deeply committed to the Arlington community. We strive to balance urban development with environmental stewardship, providing responsive, high-quality care that protects our neighbors, enhances local curb appeal, and preserves the safety of our shared outdoor spaces.
For years, Capitol Tree Care has been keeping Arlington’s neighborhoods safe, green, and beautiful. From the historic streets of Lyon Park and the vibrant avenues of Clarendon to the quiet residential blocks of East Falls Church, we don’t just work here—we live here. We understand the unique character of our local urban canopy and the specific challenges Arlington homeowners face when managing mature trees on tight residential lots.
To us, tree care is about more than just removing hazardous limbs or clearing space; it is about protecting the families and properties that make our community so special. We treat every yard as if it were our own, taking extra care to preserve surrounding landscapes and clean up thoroughly before we leave. Building lasting relationships with our neighbors through honest advice and reliable service is the foundation of everything we do.
Whether we are responding to storm damage after a summer gale or helping a homeowner safely manage a declining oak tree, our team is proud to be Arlington’s trusted partner. We believe that a healthy, well-maintained tree canopy makes our neighborhoods safer and more beautiful for everyone to enjoy.
I had a big old tree in my backyard that was more of a danger than anything recently. It was leaning dangerously close to the home after a storm so I called this tree service. Right from the beginning they were really responsive and easy to work with. They were there to check out the situation and described the tree removal process in a way that made sense and without trying to upsell unneeded services. The crew arrived on time on the day of the project and were very efficient. Most of all I liked that they were careful with my property and did not destroy the plants and structures near the tree when they removed it. They did the tree stump removal and left the yard clean and ready to use again. Also very helpful in advising me on future maintenance like tree cutting and pruning to avoid problems like this again. Service was smooth and professional and would be happy to use them again if I had need.
